Exercise guidelines
Article Abstract:
Some essential exercise information and weight-gain guidelines are provided for pregnant women along with a summary of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists guidelines for exercising while pregnant. These guidelines include exercising 30 minutes or more of moderate exercise, during second and third trimesters pregnant women should avoid standing motionless for too long, participation in large number of recreational activities, scuba diving is not safe, and exertion at altitudes of up to 6,000 feet is safe but engaging in physical activities should be avoided.
